Here are some of the regular events that are hosted weekly at Survivor's R Us!

Hearty Starts Breakfast

Hearty Starts is an event we host every Monday and Thursday from 8:00 - 10:00 am to provide a free BBQ breakfast prepared by the wonderful volunteers from Lions Club of Valentine - every Monday and every second Thursday, and The Rotary Club of Warners Bay - every second Thursday.

The breakfast food available includes bread/ toast, eggs, sausages, hash browns, and much more! Tea, coffee, and juice are also supplied! Orange Sky also has on-site clothes washing facilities for free of charge cleaning while you eat on a Monday, and we also have our own laundry facilities available 9am - 2pm Monday to Thursday.

Monday Yoga/Tai Chi

Free Yoga sessions are held weekly on Mondays from 10:00 - 11:00 am. While the session does focus on physical fitness, it also functions as a mental wellness and social event.

Counselling

1 hour counselling sessions are now available with;

* Lisa - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

* Kiera - Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

* Niew - Wednesday & Thursday

* Michelle D - every second Wednesday

FREE haircuts are available between

9:00 am - 12:30 pm on Mondays.

Toronto Outreach Program

Our weekly Outreach program at Toronto is on Mondays from 11:30am - 1:30pm each week.

We have partnered with Castle Personnel at Toronto, and they will be running the BBQ and support for SRU every Monday.

Location: Castle Personnel - Suite 1, 2 James Street.

Butterfly Corner

Butterfly Corner is an informal weekly morning tea and women's support group held on Tuesdays from 10:00 to 11:00 am. All are welcome to join our wonderful host and the lovely ladies for a non-judgmental chat with free tea & coffee provided.

FREE Lunch - Tuesdays

We'll be providing free hot lunches (with some cold alternatives when available) from 11:00am - 1:00pm, courtesy of Tasty Trucks.

Pies, sausage rolls, etc, will be available from our Cafe area on these days between that time.

Please come in if you need some lunch!

FREE Hot Food

Thanks to our partnership with Tasty Trucks, we have free bags of assorted hot food (pies, sausage rolls, etc.).

Held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week after 3:15pm.

Ask at checkout in-store for a ticket so you don't miss out.

Wednesday Hot Lunch

Lunches available on

Wednesdays from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Cost is $3 per meal.

Keep an eye out on social media to see what the meal of the week is going to be.

Ken's Corner

Ken's Corner is a free weekly morning tea and men's support group held on Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30 am after our Hearty Starts free breakfast. Everyone is welcome to join our host and the guys for a friendly chat! The atmosphere is informal and non-judgmental with tea & coffee provided.

FREE OzHarvest

Every Friday from 9:00 am, there is free fruit and veggies handed out, courtesy of OzHarvest. This food is saved from being sent to landfill and is still great to eat. Our volunteers sort all of the food into bags in an attempt to ensure the fairest distribution.

ONE BAG PER HOUSEHOLD so we can help more people/ families each week.

Donations are also welcome.
